Uma Thurman's Greenwich Village townhouse was recently put on the market for $14.2 million. Located on West 9th off lower Fifth Avenue, it is a 5058 square-feet pre-war brownstone. The five-story pad has seven bathrooms, six and a half baths and six fireplaces to survive the cold New York months!
Built in the early 1900's, it still features original elements such as high ceilings and decorative moldings.
The townhouse has no elevator, so it sure is a good workout climbing five floors!
I think the living room is simple and elegant. The off-white and neutral color scheme works well; however, I do not like the choice of chairs. The chairs look heavy and almost resemble slip covers.
I love the dining room. There are beautiful french doors that open to a private garden. The room is very balanced and elegant. The intricate ceiling design adds interest to the room.
