Color Watch: Rosy Nude

Rosy nude colors for Spring! Blush nude colored runway looks meet flesh skinned fabrics and draperies for the home. Spring has arrived; rosy nude clutches and accessories are hot in the fashion world and hot in interiors as well. Nude and natural beige hues are always a safe bet, but the blush-toned nudes this season are elegant, sophisticated and absolutely beautiful.

Rosy nude palettes are soft and pleasing. From creamy pearl colored shoes to interior spaces, I am loving this season's serene yet sexy look.

Tory's Glory - Tory Burch's Upper East Side Pad

In the latest issue of Australian InStyle, Tory Burch's Upper East Side apartment was revealed. This is no typical Manhattan fourth floor walk up. The pad is 9,000 square feet, comprised of 3 apartments remodeled into one in the Pierre Hotel.

It is no surprise that she used bold, lively prints and quirky, fun colors. Her eclectic mix of fine furnishings and unique artwork makes for a perfect luxury residence. Tory told InStyle about her "Passion for everything orange." Tory is a fashion icon - what a treat it is to be invited into her home!

ixxi

Dutch Designers Eric Sloot, Paulien Berendsen and Roel Vaessen developed ixxi, a modular connection system. You can make your own photo enlargement or photo collage in any format possible. It is perfect for a wall decoration or roomdivider. Modern and chic!

Zoom Zoom Zoom-Room

I am moving to New York City, and I know space is limited - convertible spaces are key! I recently discovered the Zoom-Room, an option I am seriously considering for a second bedroom in my new home. Zoom-Rooms are electronic, remote controlled murphy beds. With a touch of a button, a premium mattress floats into your space. It glides down a vertical track hidden inside a wood cabinet.

And the best part - you cannot tell there is a bed inside the cabinet! It is only 24 inches deep; you can even mount a flat screen TV. It doesn't interfere with bookshelves - genius!

Jennifer Aniston's Reported New Pad

America's Hollywood sweetheart, Jennifer Aniston, reportedly bought or is close to buying a 4 bedroom, 4 bath, $14.95 million Village penthouse at 2 Horatio Street in New York City.

Located in the heart of the West Village, the pad features a baby nursery, grand staircase and two outdoor rooftop patios under a water tower that is encased in brick to look like a castle. The penthouse features herringbone floors, multiple fireplaces, curved walls and a master bedroom with a glass shower and black and gray glass tiles. Ultra fabulous!

Domestic Construction's New Collection: Grounded

The sound of scissors cutting through thick paper. The smell of glue and feel of the fabric. Design that embraces the senses and, above all, sticks in the mind -- Hot duo Trish Anderson and Maureen Walsh of Domestic Construction have launched their new collection - Grounded!

The unique flooring alternative of indoor/outdoor rugs is fun, funky and full of life. The rugs are digitally designed hand-cut paper designs created by the duo themselves; the rugs have skid-resistant rubber backing and are machine washable. Available in two sizes and five prints, the large rug measures 46 inches by 66 inches and the small rug is 23 inches by 36 inches.

The rugs are reasonably priced, ranging from $98 to $280!

AURA By Tracie Ellis Bedding

Tracie Ellis is a Melbourne businesswoman with an outstanding eye for design. Her home line, AURA by Tracie Ellis, is celebrating its ten year anniversary, and the collections are better than ever. Her collections of luxury linens are screen printed and finishes are applied by hand; her designs are inspired by global travel from India to Morocco.

I love her statement prints, vibrant colors and fine details. The white and pastel crisp bedding collections are stunning for a quiet, serene bedroom look.
