In my opinion, a clean wall of art works better than a cluttered organization. I would put the largest pieces on the sides and smaller frames in the middle to create balance. Lining up the bottoms of the frames horizontally makes your custom gallery look polished. Pairing duplicates together creates a sense of unity :)

The linear organization of art above the brown sofa in the first photograph works best for me.
