ColomboSTILE - Michael Jackson's Style

Michael Jackson was an eccentric individual who always wanted to make a statement, and this is what set him apart from other artists and made him iconic.

I was looking in Florida Design magazine and saw a gorgeous rock star chair by Colombostile. I had to explore and discover what else this gorgeous handmade Italian to-the-trade furniture line carried, and boy was I impressed!

All of the furniture is over the top and nothing like I've seen before. I was researching the company, and I found out that many of Michael Jackson's pieces in his home were custom designs from this manufacturer. Does not surprise me!

Many of these pieces were auctioned off at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA a year after Jackson's death.

Here are my favorite furniture pieces that were commissioned:

(Tufted red velvet upholstery and features hard stone, onyx and wood inlay)

(Red metallic thread embroidery with crown over double headed eagle)

(Button tufted metallic leather embellished with platinum gold leafing and Swarovski crystals)

(Upholstered in faux leopard fur with real Ostrich feathers and custom painting design)
(Parcel gilt wooden writing desk with mother of pearl inlay and French gold bathed brass elements)
